We have three groups making frames in Ghana, two in Accra and one in Abompe. The Accra Group, led by Ibrahim Nyampong has been steadfast in attaining production status.

Prior to building bikes, Ibrahim was underemployed, selling suveniers at the cultural center. He has been able to drum up local interest selling bikes within his community and also shipping them to the U.S.

One customer from the U.S. visited the shop to purchase a bicycle and was easily pusuaded to purchase a second. The group is currently busy filling a 20 bike purchase order.
